work space size. Would like it bigger.
Nothing

Bed size, co2 laser cutting & engraving
Center design perfectly in middle.
My production machine for cutting wood
The machine is fine for what I do
Honestly not sure, I don't think it works right.
A lot of things, the size for one. The fume extraction is second. Third is the accuracy is not that great. And no it can't cut 1/2" wood.
Absolute ease of use.
Nothing.
A lot faster and higher wattage laser. I am able to cut and engrave larger items.
Just the bed size.
The end result, when you are finished cutting, painted, and glued...
I would have bought a larger and more powerful laser..
Power. P2 is my first CO2 laser, so this is certainly some naivety and bias talking, but compared to my OLM2, it's an absolute monster.
Air Assist, on both ends. It's not terribly strong to begin with, but also for engravings it can't be completely turned off.
The camera system! Also large, flexible workspace. User friendly (previously used GF) and packed with features.
When I cut acrylic, the edge is not completely smooth. Close but haven’t gotten it as smooth as the GF I worked with.
Quick fabrication and easy to use.
Larger Bed and more power
Simple to use and work very well in our shop
More power laser (cut 18 mm wood at ones)
It is made by me
Power laser
Variety of capabilities, ease of use, support from company, build quality
A bit better optical path calibration (the default instructions do not fully align the path with the axes!)
Camera system, curved engraving
Better route planning
Curved surface engraving
Not sure yet as it's still in the box
its paid for.... Without getting into the weeds on this, the X tool P2 is it good laser but every piece of equipment out there has drawbacks and so does the P2. On the positive side of things the camera system proves to be very accurate when used properly, With this said I fully intend to make a change 2 Thunder lasers because I need a larger bed space to accommodate larger projects. Before I make the jump to Thunder I have to prepare the new laser shop which at this point is merely a slab so I'm hoping to accommodate 3 to 4 lasers in the structure when done
power.... more more more
Ease of use.
Light burn compatible would be nice

The price lol
It's 90% joy and 10% soul crushing
If I could combine a cnc with a laser engraver / cutter, that's be the dream.
Contained cabinet, complete solution, cuts clear acrylic.
It would be free to me, as it is to you.
seeing creation come to life
engrave metals
It fits in my shop! I love the new Thunder, but I couldn’t justify the cost nor do I have the space for it. My P2 does everything I need it to do (at least right now).
More power is always a need!
