By accessing or using Laser Studio and related services provided by Machines for Makers("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Machines for Makers. Please read them carefully.

2. Service Description

Laser Studio is a web-based design tool for creating laser cutting projects. We offer both free and paid subscription tiers with different features and capabilities.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 16 years old to use our services
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Pricing

Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

4.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis

4.3 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months

4.4 Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscriptions. Contact support within 7 days of your initial purchase to request a refund.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Rights

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Laser Studio. We do not claim ownership of your designs or projects.

5.2 License to Us

By using our services, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service to you.

5.3 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload or create content that:

• Infringes intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Violates any applicable laws

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt our services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated systems to access our services without permission
• Reverse engineer or decompile our software
• Share account credentials with others
• Use our services to compete with us

7. Intellectual Property

Laser Studio, including its design, features, and code, is owned by Machines for Makersand protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.

8. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for any damage to your laser cutter or other equipment resulting from designs created using our service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MACHINES FOR MAKERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Machines for Makers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

11. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time through account settings
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately
• We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
